Adrian Bailey has written books on a wide variety of subjects, including mountaineering, photography, fashion, food and Walt Disney animation. In The Caves of the Sun (Jonathan Cape, 1997) he expounded a theory of the origin of mythology based on solar influences. His latest book, The Symbols of Life, revises this theory and proposes a unique interpretation of the Iliad and the Trojan War, arguing that to discover their real meaning we must focus on the symbolism arising from human sexual activity. |
